Our Club

Ballinderreen Hurling Club in South Galway was founded in 1884 and is one of the oldest clubs in the GAA. Ballinderreen Camogie club followed in 1968. Since our inception, we have been a progressive club producing notable players and advancing our outstanding facilities.

This year we look forward to a visit to Ballinderreen by the Presidents of the GAA, Larry McCarthy, and the Camogie Association, Hilda Breslin, on 29th June to mark the One Club initiative. We will also host the inaugural South Galway Bay Music Festival in July.

We are delighted to host the South Galway Bay Music Festival 22nd to 24th July 2022. Proceeds of the concerts will go to the building of a new gym, multipurpose room and viewing area for the benefit of all the community.
