Our Club
Ballinderreen Hurling Club in South Galway was founded in 1884 and is one of the oldest clubs in the GAA. Ballinderreen Camogie club followed in 1968. Since our inception, we have been a progressive club producing notable players and advancing our outstanding facilities.
In 2022 we were honoured to welcome the Presidents of the GAA, Larry McCarthy, and the Camogie Association, Hilda Breslin, to mark the One Club initiative. We also hosted the inaugural South Galway Bay Music Festival in July. Tickets are available to purchase for the 2023 Festival which will take place 28-30 July.
Proceeds of the festival will go to the building of a new gym, multipurpose room and viewing area for the benefit of all the community.
