Ballinderreen Sur La Mer – Ballinderreen Community Centre in association with Galway 2020 European Capital of Culture will host a big weekend of activities over 12th-14th October supported by the Galway 2020, Small Towns Big Ideas initiative. Titled Ballinderreen Sur La Mer, there will be a fun packed weekend of things to do and see such as Heritage Talks, Oyster Tasting, a Photographic Exhibition, Urban Sketching and of course the big weekend event, a gala concert with Don Stiffe and friends. Galway County Council Awards News
Ballinderreen Community Centre has been shortlisted for the 2016 Cathaoirleach Awards run by Galway Co Co in the Youth & Age Friendly Award category. The results will be announced at an Awards ceremony in Ballinasloe on Wednesday 30th November
The Plunkett Foundation Awards News
Ballinderreen Community Centre has been shortlisted in the Republic of Ireland category in the Community Ownership Awards 2016 run by The Plunkett Foundation. It is the only national awards programme recognising community co-operation around the UK & The Republic of Ireland. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on Monday 28 November
